As part of a bigger program, President Barack Obama spoke out as to what everyone, not just the President, can do in order to help the Syrian refugees. The UNHCR is, as of today (6th of October 2015) working together with famous start-ups Kickstarter, Airbnb and Instacart, to provide refugees with tents to shelter their families from the elements, safe, clean accommodation, foster care and counseling for vulnerable children, emergency rescue kits for refugee families including water, food and warm clothes, and sleeping bags and thermal blankets to keep refugee families warm at night.
